The Setting

Set among Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, Juliana and Kevan’s wedding in Canmore was bound to be breathtaking.

This sweet couple got married on a summer afternoon, bringing a slight breeze that beautifully and effortlessly styled Juliana’s stunning, flower-studded veil for their mountain-view photoshoot. Under the warm sun, Juliana was also able to use a vintage parasol that brought a unique elegance to their wedding photos.

But the best accessory of all was the expansive view of the mountains. They brought a distinct feeling of romantic adventure to Juliana and Kevan’s wedding photos.

The Couple

Juliana and Kevan have a love that truly shines. Their smiles didn’t leave their faces all day long.

The day started with both the bride and groom getting ready at Canmore’s Malcolm Hotel. The girls were glammed by Julia Joy Beauty Co. and Nicol from Wildflower Artistry before popping champagne and jamming to their wedding day playlist.

When it was almost time to head to the ceremony, Juliana’s mom helped her into her dress before the emotional and ever-exciting first look with her bridesmaids.

After a morning of glam and fun, Juliana and Kevan walked down the aisle at The Shrine Church of Our Lady of The Rockies.

Following a traditional wedding ceremony, the wedding party came together for wedding portraits right in the heart of the mountains.

After, the couple kicked off their party with an outfit change into their stunning traditional Vietnamese outfits.

Their reception was packed with plenty of laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a full dance floor overlooking the Rocky Mountains, creating a palpable scene of love, laughter, joy, and pure natural beauty.

The Venue & Vendors

The Malcolm Hotel was the perfect setting for their mountain-view wedding in Canmore. Its floor-to-ceiling windows made it the ideal location to bring Juliana and Kevan’s Rocky Mountain wedding dreams to life.

Ashley at Signature Weddings by Ashley brought the ballroom to life with colourful touches that created a whimsical take on a modern and elegant wedding day. The day was a true reflection of their love story and the beginning of their journey together as a married couple.

The mountain views, the design and decor, the intimate moments with their family and friends, and their smiles say it all. Everything about their day added to the simple elegance of it all and I’m so grateful to have been their wedding photographer.
