Tonni and Ryan’s modern and edgy downtown Calgary photoshoot were a dream come true! We embarked on a couples photoshoot that perfectly showcased their modern, care free, edgy personalities. We decided to grab some coffee and embark on the streets of Calgary! For Tonni and Ryan, we decided to do a New York City inspired couples session including modern, moody outfits that created elegant, edgy and casual look. I really wanted their Calgary photo session to be romantic but to have a edgy and vibey feel to it and I think we did just that!

A MODERN & EDGY PHOTOSHOOT IN DOWNTOWN CALGARY

When planning Tonni and Ryan’s photoshoot, the primary focus was to highlight their edgy and joyful personalities and turn it into a modern and edgy couples photoshoot. The couple’s casual and modern nature was a total vibe, and it was important to ensure their photos reflected that energy!! We opted for a modern, elegant, sophisticated look to channel the New York City inspired energy. Tonni brought the energy in her striped blouse and black trench coat, and let’s not forget the FLOWERS!!! We decided to add a pop of our signature color by incorporating a spring bouquet to break up the neutrals. It was the perfect addition to adding a little playfulness to an edgy photoshoot. Tonni and Ryan embraced the paparazzi vibes, walking and laughing in these Downtown Calgary photos. The resulting photographs exuded a sense of modern, edgy, vintage nostalgia showing off their light hearted, loving connection.
